| ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER A native Texan and longtime resident of Los Angeles, I shoot primarily in LA & Dallas, as well as around the country and sometimes, even around the world. I have a background in entertainment and marketing with degrees in both and have been shooting as a professional photographer since 2001, though I long ago learned the fundamentals of photography from shooting to developing, from my paternal grandmother, in her home darkroom. As a lifestyle photographer, I specialize in portraits - families, children, pets, athletes, pregnancy, bridal and engagement, as well as weddings. On the professional side, I shoot actor's headshots, modeling portfolio images, corporate headshots and promotional images for a variety of professionals such as athletes, fitness instructors and dancers. In my photojournalism work, I shoot food and sometimes travel photography. I am experienced in Photoshop, in both retouching and artistic interpretation. I work hard to bring my best to every session, and make each client feel comfortable. I find true joy in capturing each invidual's unique spirit! |
